The Relationship between the Expression Levels of SNRPA1 and SYF2 in Prostate Cancer Tissues and the Pathological Characteristics and Prognosis of Patients

Abstract
Objective To analyze the relationship between the expression levels of small nuclear ribonucleoprotein polypeptide A1(SNRPA1)and SYF2 in prostate cancer tissues and the pathological characteristics and prognosis of patients.Methods Prostate cancer tissues(prostate cancer group)and corresponding adjacent normal tissues(normal group)were collected from 194 prostate cancer patients diagnosed by the Fifth People's Hospital of Datong who underwent surgical treatment between June 2017 and January 2022.The expressions of SNRPA1 and SYF2 were detected by immunohistochemical staining,and their relationships with pathological characteristics and prognosis were analyzed.Results The high-expression rates of SNRPA1 and SYF2 in the prostate cancer group were significantly higher than those in the normal group(69.59%vs 35.05%,71.13%vs 27.84%,P<0.05).SNRPA1 and SYF2 expression in prostate cancer tissues was significantly associated with differentiation degree,TNM stage,lymph node metastasis,distant metastasis,and Gleason score(P<0.05).The survival rate of patients with high SNRPA1 and SYF2 expression was significantly lower than that of patients with low expression(P<0.05).Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that poor differentiation,TNM stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ,lymph node metastasis,Gleason score≥7,high SNRPA1 expression,and high SYF2 expression were independent risk factors for prognosis(HR=1.944,95%CI:1.489-2.538,P<0.001;HR=2.349,95%CI:1.584-3.483,P<0.001;HR=3.762,95%CI:1.895-7.471,P<0.001;HR=3.080,95%CI:1.869-5.077,P<0.001;HR=4.768,95%CI:2.246-10.121,P<0.001;HR=2.892,95%CI:1.883-4.443,P<0.001).Conclusion SNRPA1 and SYF2 are highly expressed in prostate cancer tissues and are closely associated with differentiation degree,TNM stage,lymph node metastasis,and Gleason score,serving as effective indicators for evaluating poor prognosis.关键词
