Abstract

The production rate of high-yield wells does not exhibit a significant decline trend during the initial pro-duction period,and the production performance is greatly influenced by the working schedule.Additionally,the near-wellbore region experiences high-velocity non-Darcy flow effects,which limits the applicability of conventional production performance evaluation methods.To address this,the variable production problem in high-yield wells is transformed into a constant production rate problem,thereby enabling production performance evaluation based on decline curve analysis.Firstly,the non-Darcy coefficient is introduced to characterize the flow characteristics,and the Duhamel principle is utilized to convert the pressure solution of variable production to that of constant produc-tion.Secondly,new indicators(material balance time and pseudo productivity index)are used to fit variable pro-duction rate data of high-yield wells into constant decline data,and production performance evaluation is completed in conjunction with the material balance method.The validity of the method is verified by taking the high-yield wells in the offshore B oilfield as an example.It can be concluded that the inversion results based on decline analy-sis are consistent with the well test interpretation conclusions.
