Abstract
Accelerating the development of new quality productivity is an important top-level design for driving high-quality economic growth.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)in China excluding Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and Xizang from 2012 to 2022,this study empirically reveals the logical linkage of the empowerment of new quality productivity on high-quality economic development by modernization of Chinese-style industrial chains.The findings show that:(1)New quality productivity has a direct impact on high-quality economic development,and this conclusion remains valid after a series of robustness tests and endogeneity problem treatments;(2)The modernization of Chinese-style industrial chains is an important transmission mechanism for new quality productivity to empower high-quality economic development;(3)The empowerment effect of new quality productivity on high-quality economic growth is more significant in regions with flat terrain and advanced digital economy levels;(4)There are threshold effects and spatial spillover effects in the impact of new quality productivity on high-quality economic development.Therefore,efforts should be made to accelerate the cultivation of new quality productivity development momentum,focus on the construction of Chinese-style industrial chain modernization,and implement differentiated development strategies based on local conditions,thereby driving high-quality economic development.关键词
