Optimization for PCSMs Operation Serving as Backup Power Sources for Industrial and Commercial Load Centers

Abstract
Industrial and commercial loads have high requirements for power supply reliability and are usually equipped with diesel generators and fixed energy storage device such as backup power sources.However,these traditional backup power sources have draw-backs such as environmental protection problems,noise pollution and low asset utilization rate.For this purpose,it is proposed to use the photovoltaic-charging-storage microgrids(PCSMs)as the backup power sources for industrial and commercial load centers to re-place the traditional backup power source.Based on this scenario,it studies the economic optimal dispatching method of the PCSMs.Firstly,it establishes an optimized dispatching model for power supply guarantee in industrial and commercial load centers.The objec-tive function is to minimize the operating cost of the PCSMs,and the reserved discharge capacity when the energy storage system being used as a backup power source is considered in the constraint conditions.Secondly,through the calculation examples of typical indus-trial and commercial load centers,it verifies the validity of the established model.It analyzes four influencing factors,namely energy storage capacity,purchase cost of energy storage,electricity sales price and the limit value of energy storage batteries under the state of charge.Finally,it compares the optimization results of the PCSMs in the two cases of serving as a backup power source and not ser-ving as a backup power source,which can provide a reference for the application of the PCSMs as a backup power source for the load center.关键词
