摘要
Abstract
Traditional Geriatric Medicine proposes the theory of aging pathogenesis centered on deficiency of all five organs,deficiency of vital Qi with an excess of pathogenic factors,depletion of Yin essence,insufficiency of Qi and blood,and Qi stagnation with blood stasis.It emphasizes the concepts of anti-aging and life extension through Yin-Yang balance,essence preservation and kidney protection,spleen strengthening and stomach benefi-ting,and harmony with nature,fully embodying the holistic view of traditional Chinese medicine's"preventive treat-ment"and the characteristics of syndrome differentiation and treatment.This article systematically summarizes the background features and content overview of Traditional Geriatric Medicine,and proposes that under the dual chal-lenges of population aging and high prevalence of chronic diseases,there is an urgent need to combine Traditional Geriatric Medicine with the demands for contemporary elderly health management,explore its contemporary value,in-tegrate theoretical inheritance with modern transformation,and develop innovative promotion pathways.关键词
