整体经络针刺法治疗中度抑郁症60例
Clinical effect of holistic meridian acupuncture in treatment of moderate depression:An analysis of 60 cases

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of holistic meridian acupuncture in the treatment of moderate depression.Methods:A total of 120 patients with moderate depression were enrolled and randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 60 patients in each group.In addition to conventional Western medicine treatment,the patients in the treatment group were given holistic meridian acupuncture,and those in the con-trol group were given conventional acupuncture.Both groups were treated for 24 sessions.The two groups were com-pared in terms of 17-item Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-17)score,Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)score,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score,norepinephrine(NE),5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT),dopamine(DA),glutamic acid(Glu)in the plasma levels and in the brain neurotransmitter power,and clinical outcome was assessed.Results:The treatment group had a significantly higher cure and marked response rate than the control group[73.4％(44/60)vs 46.7％(28/60),P＜0.05].After treatment,both groups had significant re-ductions in HAMD score,SDS score,and TCM syndrome score,and the treatment group had significantly better scores than the control group(P＜0.05).Both groups had significant changes in the plasma levels and Glu and the power of the brain neurotransmitters of DA,5-HT,NE,and Glu after treatment,and there were significant differ-ences in these indicators between the two groups after treatment(P＜0.05).Conclusion:As a safe and effective treatment method,holistic meridian acupuncture has a better clinical effect than conventional acupuncture in the treatment of moderate depression,possibly by regulating the levels of neurotransmitters.关键词
