Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of Jiawei Sanmiao powder combined with benviti-mod in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris(PV)with damp-heat syndrome.Methods:A total of 82 PV patients with damp-heat syndrome were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 41 patients in each group.The patients in the control group were given external application of benvitimod cream,and those in the treat-ment group were given oral administration of Jiawei Sanmiao powder in addition to the treatment in the control group.The two groups were compared in terms of Psoriasis Area and Severity Index(PASI)score,tradition-al Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score,visual analogue scale(VAS)score for pruritus,Dermatology Life Quality Index(DLQI),and body mass index(BMI)before and after treatment.Results:There was a significant difference in overall response rate between the treatment group and the control group[97.56％(40/41)vs 80.49％(33/41),P＜0.05].After treatment,both groups had improvements in PASI score,TCM syndrome score,VAS score for pruritus,DLQI score,and BMI,and the treatment group had significantly greater improvements than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Jiawei Sanmiao powder combined with external application of benvitimod cream can effectively improve clinical symptoms and quality of life in PV patients with damp-heat syndrome.关键词
