Mechanisms and Institutional Support for Developing Digital Skills of High-Quality Farmers

Abstract
High-quality farmers are the most dynamic elements within agricultural of new quality productivity system and should possess advanced digital skills.Drawing on the theory of communities of practice and using the Agricultural Maker Development Association as a case study,this research conducts in-depth interviews with selected high-quality farmers within the organization and analyzes key events.It explores the formation mechanisms and institutional support for their digital skills development at both organizational and systemic levels.From an organizational perspective,the digital skills development among high-quality farmers unfolds in three stages:initial adaptation,breakthrough transformation,and generative development.During initial adaptation,multiple archetypal relationships of digital skills exhibit boundary dissolution characteristics.In the breakthrough transformation stage,internal organizational interventions form complementary stacks of digital skills.In the generative development stage,digital skills enable high-level innovation through organizational synergy.Based on these findings,the study proposes institutional support for cultivating digital skills among high-quality farmers through:establishing and continuously updating digital skill standards;focusing on industry-education integration to form contractual co-education systems;and constructing identity systems such as professional title advancement and honorary recognition.关键词
