Abstract
Depot operations of locomotives constitute a vital component of operational scenarios and significantly influence the overall efficiency of transportation organization on freight railways.At depots,locomotives undergo sleep and wake-up procedures at the end of and prior to main-line operations.These procedures require the crew to perform a series of tasks,such as applying or releasing parking brakes,opening or closing main circuit breakers,lowering or raising pantographs,disconnecting or connecting battery switches.Manual execution of these sleep and wake-up processes has proven to be cumbersome and inefficient.This paper presents the design of intelligent systems that enable automatic sleep and automatic wake-up functions for locomotives.The design incorporates on-board automatic train operation and automatic wake-up equipment.The automatic wake-up equipment communicates with the intelligent ground dispatching system to exchange control instructions,while the automatic train operation equipment performs the corresponding tasks in place of the crew,thus enabling automatic sleep and automatic wake-up operations for locomotives.Practical applications demonstrate substantial research value and significant potential for applications and promotion of these automatic functions,highlighting improved transportation organization efficiency,reduced operation costs,and enhanced operation standardization.关键词
