摘要

Abstract

To quantitatively evaluate the outcomes of ecological restoration at mines,taking the high-resolution remote sensing imagers and land-use change survey data as primary data sources,we used the refined CASA model to monitor the changes of net primary productivity(NPP)in a designated ecological restoration zone of a mine in Dingxi City,Gansu Province.Results indicate that a significant rise in the NPP values within the zone from 2017 to 2023,suggesting that the restoration efforts have somewhat facilitated vegetation recovery.Nonetheless,a substantial disparity remains between the NPP values within the restoration zone and those of the natural vegetation outside it,underscoring the need to reinforce both the ecological restoration at mines and the preservation of vegetation in the revitalized areas.The findings confirm that NPP data derived from high-precision data can accurately capture the spatial changes of vegetation conditions within small regions,like ecological restoration zones of mines,thus furnishing vital insights for the effectiveness evaluation of ecological restoration measures at mines and formulating new strategies.
