Abstract
Laser 3D printing technology enables the integrated forming of complex metal structures,significantly reducing manufacturing time and cost.This paper reviews recent research advances in 3D printing processes and mechanical proper-ties of die steels,systematically summarizing research outcomes on die steel printing processes,systems,materials,and me-chanical performance.Key analysis focuses on selective laser melting(SLM)technology for forming 18Ni300 die steel,with comparative studies against die steel produced by conventional processes.Research indicates that laser 3D printing technologies(SLM/DED)demonstrate advantages of high density(>99.5%)and precision in die manufacturing,enabling complex structures such as conformal cooling channels.Plasma rotating electrode atomization(PREP)and gas atomization(GA)are identified as primary powder preparation methods for die steel.SLM-formed H13 steel exhibits mechanical proper-ties comparable to traditional forged steel,while optimized heat treatment significantly enhances the strength of 18Ni300 steel.Current limitations in yield strength,impact resistance,and fatigue performance of additively manufactured die steels require further improvement.Future work should prioritize optimizing heat treatment processes and in-depth research on strengthening and toughening mechanisms.关键词
