摘要

Abstract

In this study,3003 aluminum(Al)alloys were brazed using Al-Si-Cu flux-cored wire in air.The effects of brazing temperature and holding time on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Al brazed joints were investigated by means of X-ray diffractometer,differential scanning calorimeter,scanning electron microscopy,energy spectroscope,hard-ness test,and shear test.The microstructural characterization indicates that the reaction phases at the joint mainly consisted of AlFeMnSi,Al2Cu,Si and Al2O3.The brazing process window for Al alloys joint was narrow,but a well-bonded interface bonding without obvious welding defects could be achieved at the brazing process of 580-600℃for 25-45 min.The influ-ences of brazing temperature and holding time on the joint microstructure were mainly by controlling the diffusion distance of filler metal to the base metal,residual filler metal in the joint as well as its phase compositions,further affecting the me-chanical properties of joints.The highest joint strength of 114.25±14.50 MPa was achieved at the brazing process of 590℃-35 min,and its corresponding joint center hardness was~200 HV.
