Abstract
Driven by the imperative to enhance power grid digitization,accommodate diverse high-capacity communication services,and advance backbone network evolution,constructing high-speed,multi-service,large-bandwidth optical transmission networks becomes essential.This article overviews the technological progression of 400G Optical Transport Network(OTN)systems.Key technologies are analyzed,focusing on encoding modulation schemes,new optical fiber systems,coherent reception with digital signal processing and soft-decision forward error correction.A case study of ultra-long-span power communication is investigated using 4×100G OTN on the 750 kV Yili-Kuche transmission line,demonstrating the feasibility of single-wavelength 400G OTN deployment in challenging grid scenarios.关键词
