Abstract

Ultra-fine comminution technology has become one of the main choices for the crushing process of lean magnetite.As the content of fine particles in the crushed products increases,phenomena such as adhesion,inclusion,and agglomeration between ores become more frequent,which makes it difficult for conventional dry magnetic prese-lection equipment to achieve the desired tailings discharge effect.The rotating magnetic field dry magnetic preselection equipment integrates the use of high-frequency alternating magnetic fields and compound force fields,realizing high-frequency magnetic flip,which enhances the dispersion of magnetic agglomerates during the dry magnetic separation of iron ores,effectively breaking up agglomerates and reducing issues such as magnetic and mechanical inclusions.It offers advantages such as high tailing discharge rate,high recovery rate,and strong granularity adaptability.This paper analyzed the sorting principles and characteristics of rotating magnetic field dry magnetic preselection equipment,and summarized the main features of different types of rotating magnetic field dry magnetic separators,and discussed their application status in the processing of low-grade iron ores,with the aim of providing reference for further research and application of rotating magnetic field dry magnetic preselection technology.
