Abstract
Based on the Treatise on Cold Damage and Miscellaneous Diseases,this study explores the compatibility and application patterns of Rhei Radix et Rhizoma,involving 29 prescriptions in total(24 decoctions and 5 pills).Three main decoction method are identified:"oral Rhei Radix et Rhizoma","briefly soaking in boiling water and squeezing out the dregs",and"removing the dregs and decocting again".The commonly used dosage of Rhei Radix et Rhizoma is 4 Liang,with the minimum dose per administration in decoctions being 1/3 Liang and the maximum being 4 Liang.The primary indications include fullness below the heart,abdominal distension,irritability,delirium,and dysuria.In terms of compatibility,Rhei Radix et Rhizoma is most frequently paired with Aurantii Fructus Immaturus,enhancing both purgative and qi-regulating effects.When combined with Natrii Sulfas,the purgative action is strengthened.Pairing with Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex reinforces the qi-moving effect.When used with Scutellariae Radix at a ratio of 2∶1,the heat-clearing effect is enhanced.In combination with Gardeniae Fructus,it promotes the expulsion of dampness-heat.关键词
