Intervention effect of failure mode and effect analysis on patients with gastric tube retention after acute stroke

Abstract
Objective To investigate the intervention effect of failure mode and effect analysis(FMEA)on patients with gastric tube retention after acute stroke.Methods A total of 120 patients with with gastric tube retention after acute stroke were selected and grouped into control group of 60 cases and intervention group of 60 cases.The control group received routine management intervention,while the intervention group received FMEA model management intervention.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results The retention time and hospital stay of the intervention group were shorter than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The success rate of gastric tube extubation in the intervention group was 76.67%,which was higher than that in the control group(50.00%,P<0.05).Compared with the control group before and during the same period,the levels of serum albumin(ALB),serum total protein(TP)and scores of all dimensions of quality of life scale(SF-36)in the intervention group were increased after intervention(P<0.05).During the intervention period,the incidence of aspiration,aspiration pneumonia,esophageal reflux and gastric tube slip in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The intervention of FMEA mode on the patients with gastric tube retention after acute stroke can greatly promote recovery,improve quality of life,improve nutritional levels,and reduce the risk of adverse events,such as aspiration pneumonia and esophageal reflux.关键词
