Abstract
Using precipitation series data from the Beidaihe District,the historical drought severity was analyzed using the percentage of precipitation anomaly.Additionally,the comprehensive hazard index method was applied to assess the risk level of drought disasters based on water resources data.The results indicated that,over the past 30 years,severe droughts occurred on average once every 10 years,while moderate and mild droughts occurred on average once every 7.5 years in the Beidaihe District.The comprehensive hazard index for water resources was 0.34,corresponding to a high-moderate risk level for drought disasters.Guided by the"sponge basin"water management concept,a series of measures for drought disaster prevention and mitigation were proposed.关键词
