Abstract

In the Neogene Guantao Formation of Bohai P Oilfield,Bohai Sea,shallow-water braided river delta sedimentary reservoirs are developed.The oilfield has entered a high water cut stage,characterized by complex water flooding patterns and increasing difficulties in tapping remaining oil.Thus,there is an urgent need to carry out fine characterization of reservoir architecture at different levels within composite sandbod-ies.By utilizing core,logging,3D seismic data,and production performance data,the porosity prediction based on seismic attribute fusion has achieved the fine characterization of the fifth-to-fourth-order archi-tectural units of the shallow-water braided river delta reservoir in the L50 sand layer of the upper Member of the Guantao Formation in Block 1 of the Bohai P Oilfield.The research shows that:It can be divided into two levels of reservoir architecture units such as composite sand dam and distributary channel,single distrib-utary sand dam and distributary channel configuration unit compound sand bar,compound distributary chan-nel,single distributary sand bar and single distributary channel.Through the optimization of seismic attrib-utes,the three attributes of original amplitude,50 Hz frequency divider and reflection intensity have good responses to reservoir configuration units and interfaces.Based on the reservoir configuration characterization of attribute fusion and porosity prediction,the composite sand body configuration boundary is effectively i-dentified,and the plane distribution characteristics of configuration units are clarified.There are five con-secutive five-level configuration units in the southwest of the study area.The single distributary sand bar is distributed in a leaf shape,and the multi-level river channels frequently oscillate and cut.The northeast is semi-deep lake deposit,and the sand body is relatively undeveloped.It is of great significance to clarify the internal configuration characteristics of the reservoir for tapping the potential of the oilfield in the middle and late stages of development.The research results provide a direct geological basis for the analysis of wa-tered-out features and residual oil,the optimization and adjustment of flooding well network.
