Research progress in pivotal response training for children with autism spectrum disorder
摘要
Abstract
Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a neurodevelopmental disorder that typically emerges in childhood,and one of its core symptoms is impaired social communication.Pivotal response training(PRT)is an intervention derived from the natural language paradigm,developed based on the principles of applied behavior analysis(ABA).As a behavioral intervention for children with ASD,PRT aims to improve their communication skills and self-care abilities by teaching specific social skills and behavioral strategies.This article focuses on the systematic framework of PRT in clinical practice and synthesizes empirical evidence supporting its effectiveness in enhancing the following domains in children with ASD:communication skills,social interaction skills,daily living skills,and cognitive and learning abilities.关键词
