Constructing Chinese Cultural Identity in Border Governance:Historical Lessons,Contemporary Significance,Practical Challenges,and Pathways
摘要
Abstract
The construction of Chinese cultural identity is the core meaning of promoting effective border governance.Historically,it has always been an important content and a propulsion path of border govern-ance to build the identity of border ethnic groups with Chinese culture.Currently,continuing to deepen border governance through the construction of Chinese cultural identity is of indispensable historical sig-nificance for achieving political stability,economic development,social harmony,and cultural inherit-ance and innovation in border areas.In terms of practical challenges,border areas still face the problem of how to better coordinate the tension between diverse ethnic cultures and the integrated Chinese culture,which directly or indirectly affects the effectiveness of border governance.At present,in terms of guiding ideology,it is essential to accurately grasp the dialectical relationship between Chinese culture and vari-ous ethnic cultures.Strategically,efforts should focus on expanding the dissemination of Chinese culture and enhancing the integration of ethnic cultures.In terms of support and guarantees,increased invest-ment and resource allocation are necessary to provide a viable practical pathway for building a stable Chi-nese cultural identity and advancing border governance.关键词
