Abstract
In 1896,the governor of Sichuan,Lu Chuanlin,requested the construction of telegraph lines in Sichuan-Xizang region,which was the beginning of the construction of cable electricity in this area.In the early years of the Republic of China,the telegraph lines in the area were damaged due to warlords fighting.In order to improve the lines and support the Anti-Japanese War,after the National government of Nanjing unified the Sichuan administration,it vigorously repaired the damaged lines and expanded oth-er lines,and finally formed a wire telegraph network covering important towns in the area between Si-chuan and.Wired telephone business began with Sichuan governor Zhao Erxun set up the telephone line in Chengdu city,later due to various warlords competing for communication rights,Nanjing national gov-ernment to block the Red Army and support the war of resistance and other factors,Sichuan and Xizang wired telephone business has been unprecedented development,most of the towns and important villages are connected to the telephone.Starting in the late Qing Dynasty and developing rapidly in the Republic of China,the cable power business in the area played an important role in stabilizing the southwest border area,supporting the Anti-Japanese War,and closely connecting the area with the mainland,which is an important symbol of the transportation modernization in Sichuan-Xizang region.关键词
