Analysis of AT splitting mechanism in hydrogen atom ionization using pulse area theorem

Abstract
The resonance enhanced multiphoton ionization in hydrogen atoms was investigated,and how the pulse area determines the number and position of photoelectron splitting peaks was focused on.By constructing a bound-continuum ionization model and solving the time-dependent Schrödinger equation,the underlying mechanism of Autler-Townes(AT)splitting in photoelectron energy spectra was revealed from the perspective of pulse area.Furthermore,by analyzing the relationship between the probability amplitude,the population of the bound state,and the pulse area,the quantum interference effects arising from the sign difference in the probability amplitude of the bound state during the Rabi oscillation period were uncovered.These findings gain insights into the quantum dynamics of the multiphoton ionization process.关键词
