Laser-induced electron diffraction for molecular structural probing of nucleic acids
摘要
Abstract
In this work,laser-induced electron diffraction(LIED)was utilized to measure the molecular structures of ribonucleotide uracil(UMP)and deoxyribonucleotide thymine(dTMP).By simulating two-dimensional(2D)molecular contrast factor patterns at different incident electron energies and performing Fourier transforms on the contrast factors in momentum-transfer plane,the 2D molecular structures were successfully reconstructed,and the structural differences between the UMP and dTMP molecules were analyzed.Our theoretical results confirm that the obtained stable LIED signals over a broad range of electron energies are hopeful for rapidly and precisely detecting structural information and dynamic processes of biomolecules in bioelectronic devices.关键词
