摘要

Abstract

This review focuses on the application of photobiomodulation in the modulation of meningeal lymphatics for the treatment of brain diseases,systematically summarizing and analyzing the latest research advances in this field.First,the structure and function of the meningeal lymphatics and their crucial role in draining metabolic waste and maintaining brain homeostasis were described,followed by an analysis of the relationship between their dysfunction and brain diseases such as neurodegenerative diseases and stroke.Subsequently,the principles of photobiomodulation and its effect on modulating of meningeal lymphatics were introduced,including meningeal lymphatics dilatation and meningeal lymphatics vessel remodeling,along with its progress in the treatment of common brain diseases.Finally,a summary on the current research status of this field was given,the existing challenges and potential future research directions were discussed.
