Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of multimodal health education on clinical indicators in elderly patients with long-term cystostomy.Methods 88 elderly patients with long-term cystostomy admitted to Jiaozhou Central Hospital from February 2021 to February 2024 were selected and randomly divided into observation group(n=44)and control group(n=44)using a random number table method.The control group received conventional health education,while the observa-tion group received multimodal health education.The two groups were compared in terms of nursing knowledge level,disease uncertainty,self-care skills,satisfaction,and incidence of complications.Results After the intervention,the level of nursing knowledge,self-care skills,and satisfaction of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,while the dis-ease uncertainty was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Multimodal health education may help im-prove the level of nursing knowledge,self-care skills and satisfaction,as well as reduce disease uncertainty in elderly patients with long-term cystostomy.关键词
