基于后现代女性主义视域的拜伦诗歌中女性形象研究
Study on female images in Byron's poetry from the perspective of postmodern feminism
摘要
Abstract
The female characters in the poetry of George Gordon Byron,a British Romantic poet of the early 19th century,who resisted to unequal family and social status,as well as men's absolute power,are of significance to feminist research.Based on postmodern feminist theory,employs literary analysis to explore the threefold implications of these female characters in Byron's poetry:the object of the gaze,the victim of patriarchal discipline,and the resistor with limited capacity.By interpreting female images in Byron's poetry,this study uncovers contradictions in gender power relations during the Romantic period,conducts in-depth analysis of female character images,and articulates Byron's affirmation of women's conscious awakening.The research findings offer a reference for further examining the function of Byron's poetry in postmodern feminist studies.关键词
