Research Progress on Traditional Chinese Medicine Intervention in Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Based on PI3K/AKT Signaling Pathway

Abstract
Non alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a progressive and irreversible disease characterized by abnormal ac-cumulation of lipids in liver cells.Its onset is related to insulin resistance and lipid metabolism disorders,inflammatory reactions,oxidative stress,autophagy and so on.Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B(PI3K/AKT)is the main pathway for intra-cellular signal transduction.In recent years,a large number of studies have confirmed that PI3K/AKT can participate in liver in-flammation repair and lipid metabolism regulation by regulating insulin resistance,oxidative stress,autophagy and inflammatory re-sponse.Traditional Chinese medicine has significant advantages in the treatment of NAFLD,and regulating the PI3K/AKT signa-ling pathway is one of its mechanisms for preventing and treating NAFLD.However,there is currently a lack of systematic review and summary in this field both domestically and internationally.Based on this,this article reviewed the regulatory mechanisms of PI3 K/AKT signaling pathway in NAFLD and the intervention effects of traditional Chinese medicine in recent years,in order to provide theoretical basis for the basic research and new drug development of NAFLD.关键词
