摘要

Abstract

Methane catalytic oxidation is an efficient approach to eliminate methane emissions from natural gas engine exhaust.This review summarizes recent advancements in catalysts for the catalytic oxidation of methane.Three fundamental mechanisms of methane catalytic oxidation are outlined.For noble metal catalysts,which exhibit high activity at low temperatures,the effects of supports,preparation methods,and promoters on catalytic activity,hydrothermal stability,and sulfur resistance are reviewed.The catalytic performance of non-noble metal catalysts-including metal oxides,perovskites,hexaaluminates,and spinels-is evaluated,with emphasis on the role of modifications in enhancing their thermal stability and activity.Finally,the challenges and potential opportunities for further development of methane catalytic oxidation catalysts are discussed.
