Abstract
The characteristics of products from catalytic reforming of biomass pyrolysis volatile matter using activated carbon as catalyst under electric and microwave two heating methods were compared.The results showed that both heating methods facilitated the transformation of bio-oil to gas.The bio-oil conversion rate under microwave heating can reach 95.5%,while the bio-oil conversion rate under electric heating was 74.5%.The microwave heating showed a significant promotional effect in the generation of phenol.Under this heating method,the content of phenol in the bio-oil reached 83.0%,which was a 51.4%increase compared with the phenol content obtained by direct pyrolysis of palm kernel shell,significantly improving the quality of bio-oil and achieved the enrichment of phenol.Analysis of the gas composition after catalytic reforming revealed that both heating methods significantly increased the content of H2 and CO.Catalytic reforming of palm kernel shell volatile matter over activated carbon catalyst under microwave heating method has excellent potential for poly-generation of phenol and syngas.关键词
