Machine Learning in Agricultural Economics Research:A Review and Prospect
摘要
Abstract
Machine learning has significantly reshaped research paradigms in the social sciences but remains in the early stages of application within agricultural economics.This paper first compares the paradigms of machine learning and econometric analysis and explores the motivations for adopting machine learning in agricultural economic research.It then reviews core algorithms and models,system-atically examining applications across three areas:data utilization,prediction,and causal inference.Fi-nally,the paper discusses future directions for deepening the integration of machine learning into agri-cultural economics.The paper aims to provide methodological insights for improving research quality and advancing the development of a distinctive agricultural economics framework with Chinese charac-teristics.关键词
