社会网络中心性对农户收入的影响研究
Impact of social network centrality on farmers′ income
摘要
Abstract
[Purpose]This study investigates the impact of social network centrality on farmers'income and income structure,providing theoretical support for increasing farmers'income,optimizing income structure,and achieving common prosperity.[Method]Using household survey data from Hongxian Village,Weiyuan County,Gansu Province in 2022,we empirically analyzed the relationship between social network centrality and farmers'total income as well as different income categories.The degree centrality and closeness centrality of Hongxian Village in 2019 were used as instrumental variables for endogeneity tests,while closeness centrality of 2022 was employed for robustness checks.[Result]First,there was a significant positive correlation between social network centrality and farmers'income at the 5%significance level.For each unit increase in social network degree centrality,farmers'income increased by 16.5%.Second,social network degree centrality had significant positive effects on farmers'business income,wage income,and transfer income.Both endogeneity tests and robustness checks confirmed the reliability of these conclusions.[Conclusion]Enhancing farmers'social network centrality plays a crucial role in improving their income levels and optimizing income structure.Government policies should guide farmers to enhance their importance within social networks,thereby promoting income growth and structural optimization,helping farmers achieve common prosperity,and driving Chinese-style modernization through new quality productive forces.关键词
