Dynamic research on supply and demand matching and spatio-temporal evolution of important ecosystem services in the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration
摘要
Abstract
[Purpose]Water,energy,and food,as key ecosystem services,directly support socioeconomic development and ecological security.In recent years,urban agglomerations,being regions of highly concentrated resources,lack a comprehensive understanding of the supply-demand relationships for these three ecosystem services,constraining the scientific formulation of ecological protection and resource management policies.[Method]Taking the Chendu-Chongqing urban agglomeration as an example,this study calculated the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of three ecosystem services—water yield service,carbon sequestration service,and food supply—based on the InVEST model and the normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI).Supply-demand indices and Moran's index were used to analyze their supply-demand status and spatial patterns,further quantifying the regional ecological security level.[Result](1)Between 2010 and 2020,the water yield service and food supply in the Chendu-Chongqing urban agglomeration showed an increasing spatial trend from the northwest to the southeast,while the carbon sequestration service remained relatively stable.(2)The demand for ecological services continued to increase in economically developed urban areas but decreased in other regions.(3)The supply-demand indices for all three ecosystem services exhibited an upward trend;however,food supply displayed significant spatial heterogeneity,indicating that resource allocation still requires optimization.[Conclusion]The comprehensive security index for water,energy,and food ecosystem services reveals insufficient coordination between resource supply and demand in the core areas,while the situation is relatively better in the peripheral regions.This research provides a scientific basis for ecological environmental protection and optimized resource allocation in the Chendu-Chongqing urban agglomeration and promotes the understanding and application of ecosystem service supply-demand matching.关键词
