Abstract
The process of combining high temperature oxidation,shot blasting pre-decon-tamination and high temperature melting was studied.The decontamination test was carried out on radiation-contaminated carbon steel and stainless steel plates in nuclear power sta-tion,and the decontamination effect of each process was tested.The analysis of test results show that after the combined treatment of high temperature oxidation,shot blasting pre-de-contamination and high temperature melting,the total removal rate of cobalt-60 from carbon steel and stainless steel is 76.28%and 54.61%,respectively,which were much higher than those of direct smelting treatment with the total decontamination rates of 17.41%and 6.44%.Meanwhile,the recycling rate of metal was over 93%,and no radi-oactive wastewater was discharged in the whole process.The metal material obtained after smelting treatment can be used in the manufacture of waste packaging containers in the control areas of nuclear power plants.关键词
