重晶石粉对重晶石混凝土性能的影响
Influence of Barite Powder on the Properties of Barite Concrete
摘要
Abstract
To address the issue of excessive barite powder generation during engineering applications of barite concrete(due to the high brittleness of barite aggregates)and its ad-verse effects on construction quality,this study systematically investigates the influence of 0~7%barite powder(by equal mass replacement of coarse and fine aggregates)on the workability,mechanical properties,and gamma-ray shielding performance of barite con-crete.The effects of varying barite powder replacement ratios on concrete performance were evaluated,and the underlying microstructural mechanisms were analyzed using scan-ning electron microscopy(SEM)and mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP).Experimental results demonstrate that an appropriate amount of barite powder effectively improves work-ability and apparent density.The compressive strength initially increases with the powder content,peaking at a 3%replacement ratio,but significantly decreases when the replace-ment ratio exceeds this threshold.The 7-day splitting tensile strength follows a trend similar to compressive strength,while the 28-day splitting tensile strength remains unaf-fected.Gamma-ray shielding capacity and linear attenuation coefficient(μ)increase at re-placement ratios below 5%,but decline at 5%-7%,accompanied by a noticeable differ-ence in shielding effectiveness between the upper and lower concrete layers.Microstructural analysis reveals that moderate barite powder enhances concrete density through filler and nucleation effects,promoting hydration products and refining pore struc-ture.In contrast,excessive powder hinders cement hydration,increases porosity and sur-face cracks,and leads to structural loosening.关键词
