摘要

Abstract

To investigate the physiological response characteristics of new shoot leaves from different tea tree varieties to low-temperature stress during sprouting period,a controlled low-temperature simulation experi-ment was conducted using the cultivar Xinyang 10 as test material and Fuding Dabaicha as control.The tem-perature regime was designed as 25 ℃(normal temperature)→ 0 ℃(low-temperature stress)for 24 hours→ 25 ℃(recovery phase)for 48 hours.The changes of the superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT)and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-PX)activities,the contents of osmotic adjustment substances including solu-ble sugar,soluble protein and free proline,and the malondialdehyde(MDA)content in new shoot leaves dur-ing low-temperature stress and recovery phase were analyzed.The results revealed that during the temperature regime of recovery for 48 hours after 0 ℃ stress for 24 hours,the SOD activity,and the soluble sugar,free proline and MDA contents in new shoot leaves of the two tea tree cultivars increased consistently,while CAT activity initially decreased and subsequently rebounded.The change trend of GSH-PX activity and soluble pro-tein content were different between the two cultivars,among which,those of Fuding Dabaicha declined steadi-ly,while in Xinyang 10,the GSH-PX activity decreased initially and then increased,whereas the soluble pro-tein content exhibited an initial rise followed by a decline.In conclusion,significant differences were found in SOD activity,soluble protein and soluble sugar contents between the two cultivars after low-temperature stress,and those of Xinyang 10 displayed markedly higher compared with Fuding Dabaicha.These findings indicated that Xinyang 10 possessed superior physiological adaptability and recovery capacity when response to low-tem-perature stress.
