Abstract
The hydro-generator set is the core equipment in hydropower generation,with its safe and stable operation critical to power system reliability.Excitation carbon brushes are essential for transmitting excitation current in hydro-generator sets;however,excessive brush temperatures frequently disrupt the normal operation of the sets.An in-depth study was conducted on the excessive operating temperature of excitation carbon brushes in hydro-generator sets,with detailed analysis of the associated hazards,causes,and case examples.Additionally,the application of a wireless temperature monitoring system was emphasized as an effective solution.The system,consisting of wireless temperature sensors and a carbon brush monitoring unit,was described in terms of its working principle,structure,and practical benefits.Case analysis demonstrated its effectiveness in real-time temperature monitoring and timely anomaly detection,providing robust technical support to enhance the reliability and safety of hydro-generator sets.关键词
