Abstract

Dagu depression is located in the hinterland of the Badain Jaran desert and very hard to conduct conventional ground geophysical prospecting.To meet the demands of uranium metallogenic environment detection of the desert covered area of Dagu depression,we made a test and application of ground-air integrated detection technology based on UAV aeromagnetic,high-precision gravity and high-precision electromagnetic methods.UAV aeromagnetic combined high-precision ground gravity was used to identify the planar distribution of fault structure and the uplift-depression framework of the desert covered area,while high-precision electromagnetic method to detect the deep extension of the fault structure and the buried depth of the basement,which rapidly find out the uplift-depression and fault system in space by the complement and verification of each methods.The results show that the desert covered Dagu depression is characterized by two uplifts with one depression.The sedimentary depression is distributed in NW-SE direction,and cline in depth from SW to NE and NW to SE.The fault structures in the area shows NW and NE directions,and NW direction is the main structural direction,which is speculated to be related to the distribution direction of sedimentary sags.Based on the test and application of the above methods,a ground-air integrated detection technology for sandstone-type uranium metallogenic environment in desert covered area was constructed,which integrates UAV aeromagnetic,high-precision gravity and high-precision electromagnetic methods and can be used to realize the comprehensive and rapid detection of the location of fault structure,the buried depth of basement in the plane,and the deep extension of fault in the section.The integrated method is suggested to be extended to the detection of sandstone-type uranium metallogenic environment in areas with difficult to access,such as Gobi-desert covered area.
