长江中游沙卵石河段枯水位降幅的溯源传递机理研究
Research on the upstream transmission mechanism of low-water level decline in the sandy peddle reach of the middle Yangtze River

Abstract
The declining of low-water levels in the sandy peddle reaches of the middle Yangtze River have long been a critical concern,as it not only directly impairs navigation capacity,but also relates to the normal operation of the Gezhouba ship lock system.Thier spatial patterns are analyzed based on hydrological data.The results show that since 2014,the low-water level at flow rate of 7 000 m3/s has maintained relative stability at the upstream reach of Zhicheng,the water surface gradient in the downstream of Zhicheng has continued to increase,the water level drops have increased of 2.5 m increase in the reach from Zhicheng to Dabujie,with a surface water level gradient of 1.4‱.It was also found that this hydraulic adjustment process is governed by the energy slope dynamics during low-flow stages;the initial energy dissipation gradient during water level recession physically manifests the river self-regulatory mechanism;the greater the energy dissipation gradient,the shorter the length of the river section required for the same attenuation amplitude to be transmitted upstream during the process of water level drop.Current hydraulic conditions demonstrate that the longitudinal energy dicipation gradient along the Zhicheng-Dabujie reach is geometrically compatible with its channel length,which creating an effective buffer that restricts upstream propagation of water level decline.It is implied that the low water level decline will gradually concentrate towards the lower and even the end of the study reach in the future.The upward impact range of the decline in water level at the exit section will be further shortened to the reach downstream of Zhijiang.关键词
