摘要

Abstract

The distribution of soil particle size is one of the important soil physical properties,which affects the hydraulic characteristics and soil erosion.Taking the Caijiachuan nested watershed in the loess hilly and gully region as the research object,this study explores the effects of watershed area,forest coverage,and watershed elevation on the distribution of sediment particle size in front of the downstream weirs.The results show that the larger the watershed area,the smaller the sediment particle size and the size D<1 mm;The vegetation coverage has no trend screening effect on the sediment in front of the,and the altitude of the watershed has little effect;The influencing factors for sediment with particle size D>5 mm,from high to low are:forest coverage>proportion of farmland>river slope>watershed area.The influencing factors for sediment with particle size D<5 mm,from high to low are:watershed area>forest coverage>proportion of farmland>river slope.The research results can provide scientific basis for soil erosion control in the loess hilly and gully areas of the Loess Plateau.
