Abstract
This paper evaluates the geological hazard risk in the proposed engineering area of the Non-Ferrous Industrial Economic Development Zone in Huili City,Sichuan Province, with the aim of identifying and analyzing the impact of construction activities on geological hazards such as landslides.Initially,an in-depth analysis of the current conditions in the study area was conducted, revealing that the development of landslide hazards in the region is moderate, with both the degree of hazard and the existing risk level being assessed as moderate. In other areas of the study region, the development of geological hazards is relatively weak, with lower hazard levels and a small risk rating.Subsequently, predictive analysis was performed on the potential geological hazards that could be triggered during and after construction, indicating that while the development of such hazards is expected to be moderate, both their impact and risk levels are considered small.According to the results of the current assessment and the predictive analysis, the geological hazard risk in the study area is classified as small, and the suitability of the land for construction is evaluated as generally appropriate. Finally, the main geological hazards within the project area were identified as landslides, with slope types including fill slopes, excavation slopes, and foundation pit slopes,as well as uneven ground settlement in fill areas.Corresponding disaster prevention measures were established. This study provides a scientific basis for the prevention of geological hazards during the construction process, contributing to the safety of the project and environmental protection.关键词
