Best evidence summary for self-management of patients with urinary calculi based on the CDSMP model

Abstract
Objective:To summarize the best evidence for self-management of patients with urinary calculi based on the chronic disease self-management program(CDSMP)model.Methods:Clinical decisions,guidelines,expert consensuses,and systematic reviews related to self-management for patients with urinary calculi were retrieved according to the"6S"evidence pyramid model.The retrieval time spanned from April 10,2019 to April 10,2024.The included literature was evaluated for quality based on established criteria.And evidence was extracted and synthesized with professional judgment.Results:A total of 10 literature were included,involving 3 clinical decisions,5 guidelines,1 systematic review,and 1 expert consensus.The best evidence was summarized into 3 themes,namely risk factor assessment,general self-management measures,and specific self-management measures for different types of calculi.A total of 58 best evidence items were identified.Conclusions:Evidence users could selectively apply the best evidence for self-management of patients with urinary calculi based on the CDSMP model according to their specific clinical context,so as to develop individualized self-management plans.关键词
