Development and influencing factors of colostomy disgust in patients with enterostomy:a longitudinal study

Abstract
Objective:To explore the changing trend and influencing factors of colostomy disgust in patients with enterostomy half a year after operation,so as to provide reference for targeted intervention.Methods:A total of 262 patients with enterostomy were followed up with the General Information Questionnaire,the Colostomy Disgust Scale(CDS),Self-Compassion Scale(SCS),and the Chinese version of the Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-2nd Edition(AAQ-II)1 day before discharge and 1,3,6 months after discharge.Results:Colostomy disgust of patients with enterostomy decreased gradually in the first half of the year after operation.Gender,complications,self-compassion,and experiential avoidance were the influencing factors of colostomy disgust.Experiential avoidance played a partial mediating role between self-compassion and colostomy disgust.The mediating effect accounted for 45.89%of the total effect.Conclusions:Colostomy disgust of patients with enterostomy tends to decline half a year after operation.Medical staff could reduce patients'experiential avoidance by implementing self-compassion intervention to relieve their colostomy disgust.关键词
