Preparation of sec-butylbenzene by liquid-phase alkylation

摘要

Abstract

The SRZ-21 molecular sieve was prepared by the hydrothermal crystallization method.Catalyst MBu-01 and MBu-02 were prepared by mixing the SRZ-21 molecular sieve with pseudo boehmite.By employing MBu-01 as the alkylation catalyst,the alkylation reaction of benzene and butylene was studied,and the transalkylation reaction of di-sec-butylbenzene(DSBB)was investigated by adopting MBu-02 as the transalkylation catalyst.The experimental results show that in the alkylation reaction,reducing the benzene/butene molar ratio will decrease the selectivity of sec-butylbenzene(SBB),and excessively high reaction temperature will lead to an increase in the content of impurity tert-butylbenzene.In the conditions of benzene/butene molar ratio of 1.8-3.0,reaction temperature of 140-160℃,butene WHSV of 0.6-1.0 h-1,and pressure of 2.0 MPa,the butene conversion is more than 99%,the SBB selectivity reaches over 90%,and the content of tert-butylbenzene is about 0.04%(w).In the transalkylation reaction,under reaction temperature of 180-200℃and DSBB WHSV of 1.0-2.0 h-1,the DSBB conversion is 50%-70%,and the content of impurity tert-butylbenzene is below 0.10%(w).
