Abstract

Linear generator power supply is an important energy supply method for maglev vehicles operating at high speed.Analyzing the spatial-temporal distribution characteristics of the air gap magnetic field is a prerequisite for accurately assessing the power generation capacity of linear generators.Targeting at the power supply needs of maglev transport,this paper presents a systematic research on the harmonic composition of the air gap magnetic field and its influencing laws on the linear power generation capacity through a combination of mathematical modeling and simulation analysis.Firstly,it introduces the structure and power generation principles of a linear generator,and establishes a mathematical model of the linear generator.Secondly,it builds a simulation model to analyze the composition of the air gap magnetic field and the power generation capacity of the linear generator.Finally,it focuses on analyzing the impact of changes in the excitation magnetic field on the power generation capacity of the linear generator.This research shows that the 7th and 5th harmonics generated by the excitation magnetic field play a major role in the power generation capacity of linear generators,and the power generation capacity of linear generators changes approximately proportional to the vehicle speed.
