麦粒灸联合药物治疗青少年肺脾气虚型变应性鼻炎的疗效观察及对血IL-4、IL-6和IgE的影响
Therapeutic observation of wheat-grain-sized cone moxibustion plus medication for allergic rhinitis in adolescents due to lung-spleen Qi deficiency and the effects on blood IL-4,IL-6,and IgE

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of treating allergic rhinitis(AR)in adolescents due to lung-spleen Qi deficiency with wheat-grain-sized cone moxibustion plus medication and the effects on the levels of interleukin-4(IL-4),interleukin-6(IL-6),and immunoglobulin E(IgE)in blood.Method Eighty-six AR patients were randomized into a control group(43 cases)and a treatment group(43 cases).The control group received Mometasone furoate nasal spray,and the treatment group was additionally given wheat-grain-sized cone moxibustion.Before and after the treatment,as well as at the follow-up,the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)symptom score was compared;before and after the treatment,the total symptoms score(TNSS)and blood levels of IL-4,IL-6,and Ig-E were compared;the clinical efficacy after the treatment and at the follow-up and post-treatment adverse reactions were also compared.Result The TCM symptom score dropped after the treatment and at the follow-up in both groups compared to the pre-treatment score(P＜0.05),and the treatment group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).After the treatment,the TNSS decreased in each group(P＜0.05)and was lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P＜0.05).The blood levels of IL-4,IL-6,and IgE dropped after the treatment in both groups(P＜0.05)and were lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P＜0.05).The total effective rate in the treatment group(92.7%)was higher than that in the control group(70.7%)after the treatment(P＜0.05),and it was 87.8%versus 53.7%between the treatment group and the control group at the follow-up.The adverse reaction rate was 2.4%in the treatment group and 12.2%in the control group;the between-group difference was statistically insignificant(P＞0.05).Conclusion Wheat-grain-sized cone moxibustion plus medication can improve clinical symptoms,down-regulate the blood levels of IL-4,IL-6,and IgE,and produce satisfactory long-term efficacy in treating adolescents'AR due to lung-spleen Qi deficiency.关键词
