浅刺法联合通络刮痧对周围性面瘫患者面神经麻痹症状及面部肌电图指标的影响
Effect of shallow acupuncture plus meridian-unblocking Guasha on facial nerve paralysis symptoms and facial electromyography indicators in patients with peripheral facial paralysis

Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of shallow acupuncture plus meridian-unblocking Guasha on facial nerve paralysis symptoms and facial electromyography(EMG)indicators in patients with peripheral facial paralysis(PFP).Method Ninety PFP patients were randomized to a Guasha group(45 cases)and a combination group(45 cases).Both groups were given conventional treatment.In addition,the Guasha group received meridian-unblocking Guasha and the combination group,shallow acupuncture in addition.Facial artery hemodynamic indicators,facial EMG indicators,the Facial Disability Index(FDI)score,the House-Brackmann(H-B)grading scale score and the facial nerve paralysis severity grading were observed in the two groups before and after treatment.The incidence of adverse reactions was compared between the two groups.Result After treatment,facial artery peak systolic flow velocity(Vs)and end diastolic flow velocity(Vd)increased in the two groups(P＜0.05)and were higher in the combination group than in the Guasha group(P＜0.05);facial artery resistive index(RI)decreased in the two groups(P＜0.05)and was lower in the combination group than in the Guasha group(P＜0.05).After treatment,EMG orbicularis oris,orbicularis oculi and nasal muscle latency periods shortened in the two groups(P＜0.05)and were shorter in the combination group than in the Guasha group(P＜0.05);EMG orbicularis oris,orbicularis oculi and nasal muscle amplitudes increased in the two groups(P＜0.05)and were higher in the combination group than in the Guasha group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the Facial Disability Index physical function(FDIP)score increased in the two groups(P＜0.05)and was higher in the combination group than in the Guasha group(P＜0.05);the Facial Disability Index social function(FDIS)score and the H-B score decreased in the two groups(P＜0.05)and were lower in the combination group than in the Guasha group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the facial nerve paralysis severity grading improved in the two groups compared with before(P＜0.05)and was better in the combination group than in the Guasha group(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 8.9%in the combination group and 13.3%in the Guasha group with no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Based on conventional treatment,shallow acupuncture plus meridian-unblocking Guasha has a marked therapeutic effect on PFP.It can improve artery hemodynamic indicators,facial nerve function and EMG indicators in the patients with higher safety.关键词
