Design of Simulation System for Optimizing Ventilation Shaft Layout in Long Tunnel Section

Abstract
To solve the shortcomings of traditional methods in supporting multiple ventilation shaft layout and achieving train interval equilibrium in super-long tunnels,this paper presents the design of a simulation system for optimizing the ventilation shaft layout.The finite-state machine theory is followed to accurately simulate the ATO operation curve,and develop the algorithms for train interval calculation and interactive optimization of ventilation shaft locations.Additionally,the C++language is utilized to develop the simulation platform including HMI,data management and core computing modules.With the long section of the Chongming Line of the rail transit network in Shanghai taken as an engineering case,the proposed system is adopted for the optimization simulation of ventilation shaft layout.The simulation results show that the proposed system can provide effective guidance for ventilation shaft location determination,achieve greater balance between various ventilation shaft sections in train interval,and increase the operational safety margin while meeting the designed capacity requirements,which verifies the engineering application value of the proposed system.关键词
