Research on digital tools to facilitate the evolution of the intangible cultural heritage of brocade craftsmanship

Abstract
As an intangible cultural heritage,brocade weaving,using silk as thread and machines as tools,presents colorful visual effects through exquisite weaving techniques and unique pattern designs,and is regarded as a symbol of"Embroidered China".With the rapid development of digital technologies such as big data,artificial intelligence,3D printing technology and augmented reality,the production mode and dissemination ecology of brocade weaving techniques have undergone profound changes.Through digital design tools,brocade design can be market-oriented and diversified.Through digital printing technology,the brocade production process can be optimized to increase efficiency and quantity.Through digital interactive products,the public can gain a more intuitive understanding of the brocade production process and cultural connotation.The integration of digital technology promotes the deep integration of culture and science and technology,which not only promotes the living heritage and diversified dissemination of brocade skills,but also deepens the sense of identity of the disseminator and the audience for the excellent traditional Chinese culture. To address the current challenges of market adaptability and insufficient integration with digital technologies in the inheritance of the intangible cultural heritage(ICH)of brocade craftsmanship,this study employs an interdisciplinary approach to systematically explore various digital technology applications in brocade craftsmanship,building upon a comprehensive understanding of traditional weaving techniques.The study employs an integrated approach combining digital design software,3D printing,and AR/VR interactive displays with big data analytics to optimize product designs based on market demand insights.By integrating user research(questionnaires,and interviews)with market data analysis,this study conducts a comprehensive evaluation of digitally innovated brocade's market acceptance and cultural communication value,while exploring viable pathways for converging traditional craftsmanship with modem technologies.The study comprehensively applies cutting-edge digital technologies such as big data,artificial intelligence,3D printing technology and augmented reality to the design,production and dissemination process of brocade weaving,achieving profound integration between traditional craftsmanship and modern technology.It breaks the limitations of traditional communication methods,enables the public to understand brocade weaving techniques more intuitively and deeply,and enhances the interactivity and interestingness of cultural communication.Digital technology can optimize the process of brocade craftsmanship from the prediction of ICH market demand,assisting the generation of brocade pattern design,optimizing brocade production and other diversified dimensions.The application of artificial intelligence generated content(AIGC)implies the intrinsic connection between brocade craftsmanship and multidisciplinary domains,facilitating paradigm shifts in traditional thinking and expanding the creative horizons of brocade design.Using its intelligent algorithms for insight and analysis of the market enables more precise identification of ICH market trends and consumer demands.The use of machine learning algorithms to assist in design can transform diversified styles in a timely manner,reduce repetitive design practices,and significantly improve design efficiency.3D printing technology transforms the traditional subtractive production process of intangible brocade,providing an additive manufacturing method that enhances cost-efficiency and production effectiveness.The use of numerical control technology can significantly enhance the performance and efficiency of textile machinery,while reducing both material waste and energy consumption in textile production.Through translucent stacking,augmented reality(AR)technology provides immersive access to exhibits' intangible heritage dimensions,supplementing their background knowledge. In addition,the interdisciplinary nature of digital technology broadens the horizons of researchers and provides a new direction for the study of brocade craftsmanship.Under the rapid iteration of digital technology,how to grasp the brocade craftsmanship continues to integrate and update,and utilize the integration of technology to simplify the process of brocade has yet to be continued research.关键词
