Exploring the Comparative Advantage of"Peripheral Villages":A Case Study of Longdong Village in Kunming City
摘要
Abstract
Rural areas located at a certain distance from cities along the urban-rural continuum,with relatively lag-ging economic development and marginalized positions in both geographical and socio-cultural spaces,can be termed"pe-ripheral villages".The development of these numerous peripheral villages is a critical issue in narrowing the urban-rural development gap.Longdong Village,a peripheral village in Kunming City,has pursued development by identifying and le-veraging its comparative advantages in red culture,ecological culture,and ethnic culture.This exploration represents an in-novative practice for promoting high-quality local social development amid increasing urban-rural mobility.In the context of urban-rural integration as a prevailing trend,peripheral villages,characterized by multiple marginalities and differences,strive to transcend the techno-economic logic centered on resource endowments.By creatively transforming non-econom-ic factors within social relations and cultural contexts into cultural products with comparative advantages,these villages achieve social development with significant contemporary value.关键词
