围产期补饲对肃北牦牛生产性能的影响研究
Effects of Periparturient Supplemental Feeding on the Productive Performance of Subei Yaks

Abstract
Subei yak,a newly discovered genetic resource identified during the third national census of livestock and poultry genetic resources,is characterized by its large physique,rapid growth rate,and excellent meat production performance.To inves-tigate the impact of periparturient supplementation on the productive performance and reproductive survival rate of Subei yaks,40 periparturient female Subei yaks,aged 2-3 years with similar body conditions,were randomly and evenly divided into a peri-parturient supplementation experimental group and a control group.The experimental group was supplemented with concentrated feed and oats,while the control group was managed under normal grazing conditions.The results indicated that the postpartum body weight change in the experimental group was not significant,whereas the control group experienced an average weight loss of 27 kg postpartum.Body condition score monitoring revealed that the experimental group's Su-bei yaks maintained a score of 3.45 before supplementation,which increased to 3.75 after parturition,while the control group's score decreased from 3.5 to 2.85.The experimental group gave birth to 20 calves,all of which survived,achieving a 100%reproductive survival rate,which was 20%higher than that of the control group.The birth weight of the calves in the experimental group was 13.65 kg,an increase of 2.08 kg compared to the control group.Periparturient supplemen-tation was found to effectively enhance the productive and re-productive performance of Subei yaks.关键词
